An interesting long trailer at 4:07. Using time-lapse video and animation to introduce this nonfiction book. I find this trailer long but it does hold my interest. Very interesting use of a whiteboard.
- Time-lapse video of drawing on a white board
- Length: 4:05 but holds your interest
- Strong narrative
Footnote: I found the concept of the trailer trailer appealing so I bought and read the book. My career has been inventing and could relate to some of the stories. Like the trailer I found the book interesting but long. The book is a collection of stories about inventions to illustrate the concepts shown in the trailer.
Huffington post: Slick animation. High quality images. Nice voice over. Good balance between informing the viewer about the book without giving too much away ... Well, we liked it. Do you?
An exploration of environments that lead to breakthrough innovation, in science, technology, business, and the arts. I conceived it as the closing book in a trilogy on innovative thinking, after Ghost Map and Invention.
