Elements: Directive, Narrator, Praise, Sound Effect, Video - Custom consumer grade

Great use of smartphone grade video played forward then backward with narrator and music.

The trailer has a long lead to the line "Even the day you die." Then the excite phase is rewinding the video as the premise is that she can rewind time and do it again. Then the amaze, hook, that you can change things and it does make a difference. This established the rules in this world. Appeal to the "what if I could do it over again."

LEAD Analysis

Lead “Each day is just like the one that came before it, and the one that will come next. Even the day you die...” The viewer is enticed with the quirky sped-up selfie but only when the hook is delivered at 35 seconds do we know why we are here. LEAD Timing Stopwatch.png
Excite [interest] Rewind the scene.
Amaze [hook] “What is you could do it over again?”
Direct [directive] Book cover and website.
